Hoarding disorder impacts 2.5% of the population and is linked to health risks and functional impairment across a range of life domains. However, there are notable barriers to treatment access for those with hoarding problems, including cost, availability, and stigma, and clinically severe symptoms generally persist even after receiving the gold-standard psychotherapy for hoarding. Jennifer Krafft, Ph.D., assistant professor of psychology at Le 69色情视频, will discuss her research on psychological processes that contribute to hoarding (e.g., experiential avoidance, mindfulness, disconnection from values) and interventions that can target those processes while increasing access.
