Alejandro Sim贸n Partal (Estepona, M谩laga, 1983) holds a doctorate in Hispanic philology.
Sim贸n Partal has taught at universities in France, the Czech Republic and Spain. He is
the author of essays, plays, and five poetry collections that have received international
awards such as the Arcipreste de Hita Prize and the Hermanos Argensola Prize, and
which were compiled in Ese de anoche (Aguilar, 2023). With his novel La parcela
(Caballo de Troya, 2021), Sim贸n Partal won the C谩lamo Prize 鈥淥tra Mirada.鈥� La planta
baja. Diario de rodaje (Plaza and Jan茅s, 2024) is his most recent book. He currently directs
the Biblioteca de Culturas Contempor谩neas in Estepona.
