Next step? Orientation! Get ready for your first rite of passage as a Dolphin – Le 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ’s first-year orientation program, Heading to the Heights.
Important dates on your road to the Heights
Here’s a guide to important deadlines. If you have any questions, contact orientation@lemoyne.edu.
- May 15 – Deadline to complete your New Student Checklist. Confirm your major, provide your academic preferences, and sign up for Summer Welcome and Advising Week sessions.
- Throughout May – Attend a virtual summer welcome session. Sign up in your portal for one of the group meetings available.
- Mid-June – Attend a virtual Advising Week session for your major. Sign up in your portal for a group meeting with an advisor in your discipline and fellow classmates.
- August 20 –First-year residents will check in and move into their new room on Wednesday, August 20. Optional sessions will be available for students and families to learn more about Le 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ.
- August 21 – 23 – Students will take part in 2 ½ days of our August fall arrival orientation program. Required of all new students.
- August 25 – Students will attend the first day of fall classes.
- Mass of the Holy Spirit – Classes scheduled for 11 a.m. and 12 Noon will not be held. Classes resume at 1 p.m. Date TBD

Our orientation program begins with our virtual Summer Welcomes and concludes with Fall Arrival as you prepare on campus for your first college days. Through thoughtful programming and events, you'll meet your your classmates, faculty and the Le 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ College community who can’t wait to welcome you!

(Required) Join us for one of four Summer Welcome sessions. These sessions last about one hour and are conducted via Zoom. During it, you’ll meet your class dean and learn how to prepare for orientation and your first semester at Le 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ. Both students and families can participate so that everyone is in the loop. Make sure to attend so that you can plan ahead for summer. RSVP using your Student Portal.

(Optional) Moving onto campus may make you excited and a bit nervous. We understand, so we have set aside a whole day for this for first-year students. We offer a centralized check-in process so you’ll get your orientation materials and key at the College’s Event Center. You’ll then drive over to your residence hall as your belongings get carried to your room by Le 69É«ÇéÊÓƵ’s move-in crew. This squad of resident advisors and orientation leaders will cheer you on as you get settled in.

Designed to support both commuting and residential students, you’ll gather with classmates for programming that will help you start the semester strong. During Fall Arrival, you get to meet your academic advisor and engage in activities that showcase resources and support services. We will end our orientation program festivities by celebrating the start of the new school year!

Designed to support both commuting and residential students, you’ll gather with classmates for programming that will help you start the semester strong. We will end our orientation program festivities by celebrating the start of the new school year!
