Anirban Acharya, Ph.D.
- Professor of Practice Political Science
I am interested in studying the way political power shapes and transforms markets in terms of formality and informality, with a focus on neoliberal ideology and policy making. This theoretical lens I believe can be applied and extended to markets of, not only, consumer goods and services, but also war making in the 21st century. When I am not teaching or studying, I like to cook, play chess, mix vinyl records, play violin, read poetry, have meaningful conversations about almost anything under and beyond the sun.
